Aedan @ 3 Months

Yesterday our little baby turned 3 months old! Ok, so he's not very little, but I can't believe he is already 3 months old. I worked yesterday, and when I picked the boys up from daycare, the teacher was holding Aedan and I realized he was holding his head up on his own! He has had better head control, but I guess I've been so obsessed with trying to make sure he gets his physical therapy in to keep his head from leaning to the left, that I didn't even realize he really could just hold his head up on his own. Anyway, so he is doing that and can also lift his head and chest off the ground when lying on his tummy...but only for a little bit. He can roll to his side from his back either way. He also loves putting his hands in his mouth and realizing that he can reach for things. He smiles when I come to pick him up after a nap, after work, or just when I smile at him...I just love that! :) He's laughed only a couple of times, but he's definitely starting to make different gurgling, happy noises and coos. Aedan has been pretty fussy this last month, but the past week he seems more calm and content. He has also started finally sleeping longer in the night--yay! :) He is sleeping at least 6 hours in a row and sometimes up to 8 or 9 hours. It's really nice when he does that! I've also noticed that Aedan LOVES watching his brother. When Preston is around, Aedan seems happier, perks up, and really watches him a lot. I love this! I can't believe the newborn days have passed and how fast this time really does go by. I love having a baby to care for and love on and I am excited for Preston and Aedan to get to play together as they grow. Aedan is such a sweet baby and I'm so glad he's part of our family!
