10 Months

Aedan became 10 months old on Feb 2nd. I can't believe he is almost ONE! Here are 10 things about Aedan:

1. He wakes up and gives me a huge grin every morning around 8am.
2. He still prefers to army crawl all over the house, but does attempt to crawl a few "steps".
3. He loves his older brother and watches Preston all the time, wanting to know what he is doing.
4. He usually only takes one nap a day (although he could use 2) for about 1-2 hours. Luckily it's usually during Preston's naptime, too.
5. Aedan loves our dog, Abby. He tries to "pet" her and pull her tail. Abby is so good, she tolerates this. :)
6. He has recently learned how to clap his hands and he loves to do this!
7. He is very social. If you leave the room he gets upset every time. Although he does prefer me, he will go to anyone and be very content to just receive all the attention...except when he's tired. If he's tired he's VERY whiny and really fights going to sleep.
8. Aedan is still breastfeeding, but takes some formula at daycare. He has two 4oz formula bottles and two 6oz breastmilk bottles on daycare days. Sometimes he doesn't drink them all. At home he usually nurses at around 11am and then 8pm...and occasionally one other time, either earlier in the morning or late afternoon. He loves to eat and try to feed himself. He can eat finger foods on his own, and would prefer to feed himself using his spoon,  but then he would hardly get any of it in his mouth. :) Oh, and he does pretty well with a cup. I would like to go straight to a cup when he can take cow's milk in a couple of months. That's what I did with Preston, and it worked well.
9. He has his 4 bottom front teeth, the 4 top front teeth, AND his first molar. The top left molar nearest to the front came in a couple of weeks ago. His top left incisor is also starting to come in!
10. Aedan only has 1 week left in his DOC band! Yay! His head shape is much improved. He could probably do another band to maybe shape it even more, but it's really not guaranteed that it will change much. Not to mention it would be tough to pay another $1500 or more out of pocket (Yes, that's after insurance covering half of it!).
