Today was Preston's 4 month checkup. He weighs 17 lbs 10 oz (90-95th percentile) and is 27 inches long (95th percentile)! I didn't even think he was *that* big. Everything checked out well and he got 4 shots and the liquid Rotovirus. He was kind of grumpy to begin with b/c he was missing his morning nap so he cried a little longer than at his 2 month visit. :( At home I went ahead and gave him a dose of infant Tylenol b/c he was pretty fussy and did his "I'm hurting" cry. :( Once he got a good nap he was in a much better mood though! I got the ok to start him on some solid foods...so I will try it out tomorrow and see how it goes. He was in no mood to try it today. I got some rice cereal and baby foods about a month ago on a good couponing deal, so I am ready. :)

What a big boy!! I LOVE fat baby legs. Kelly has measured/weighed pretty big himself! Can't wait to hear about the solid foods!
Oh, and if it was the Beech Nut deal, I did that too! I like Beech Nut better anyway. I feel like they have soooo many more flavors and different combos for baby to try.
