Special Day

One year ago today (the day before Thanksgiving) I found out I was pregnant! :) My sister and family were in town for Thanksgiving and I wasn't "late" or anything, but just thought I should go ahead and take a pregnancy test (I had a couple on hand just in case :) ) and to my surprise it was positive! I thought about doing something cute to let David know, but I'm not very good at keeping things like that to myself...so I showed him the test pretty much right away. We were both very excited! We told our family that day, but we managed to pretty much keep it a secret from others until I was 12 weeks along.

So fast forward one year later and today I fed Preston his first "meal" of rice cereal. Here are some pictures to give you a good idea of how it went...

Overall it went pretty well. He ate about half the amount I made--I made a tablespoons' worth--so that's pretty good. We'll see how it continues! :)
