Eight

Our little man is 8 months old today! It's weird to think that he has changed and grown so much and yet, at this time last year I was pregnant and just really starting to show and starting to feel him move around in utero.

Preston is feeling better from his cold and starting to sleep more at night like he usually does, thankfully. Here are 8 things going on with our baby boy with some pictures, too...

1. He is able to sit up on his own, unsupported (I know I already wrote about this...but he wasn't totally doing this at 7 months).


2. He will not eat peas anymore. He wants nothing to do with them!

3. He has started sleeping in different positions. I put him to sleep on his back but I'll find him sleeping on his side, stomach, feet propped up, bottom in the air...guess he wants his bald spot in the back to fill in. :)


4. He is quite the artist and already makes beautiful drawings.


5. Chloe is his favorite animal right now.


6. He still does (safely) fit in his original car seat carrier (I was wrong about the length restrictions). It holds a baby up to 30lbs and 32inches. He is 22lbs 9 oz and not sure how long but I know he's not 32inches long, yet. Yay!


7. For the past couple of weeks he has been getting up on his hands and knees and rocking back and forth.


8. His mode of locomotion is to roll across the room, pivot on his knees, and scoot backwards. No crawling yet, just creative movement.
