Yesterday was Preston's one year checkup. It was pretty uneventful and he's still a big boy in the 95th percentile for everything. He's 26lbs 4oz and 31 1/2 inches tall! He got more vaccines and did ok with the first 2 shots, but the 2nd 2 left him crying for about 5 mins until I got him dressed and handed him my keys...then he was ok. :)
He's still not walking on his own, but he walks with push toys around the house. Once he stood on his own and then took one step, but that was it. He recently discovered how to open our handle-less kitchen cabinets...so I finally installed some magnetic locks. Lately he's been doing some serious sleeping in! Not every day, but days when he's catching up on lost sleep (usually the day after going to daycare-he takes only one short nap there, whereas he usually takes 2 good naps at home) he'll sleep in til like 10 or 11! He's done it twice this week. And he usually goes to bed about 8:30!
He definitely is a busy body these days. :) I'm lacking in picture taking lately. I'll post some soon!

Such a big boy! He'll be a great big brother...but boy will you have your hands full!
