Aedan is one month old today! I just went back and read about where Preston turned one month old to compare and I realized there is so much I forgot about having a newborn. :) Aedan will have his check up tomorrow, so I'm not sure exactly how much he weighs yet. Preston was 9lbs, 9ozs at his one month check up--so we'll see how Aedan compares. I am thinking he weighs less than that actually. Aedan seems to be following in Preston's footsteps in the fact that he has some pretty significant gas/reflux issues that seem to be more prominent at night. For some reason I remember Preston sleeping more at night than Aedan does...but I think I'm having one of those mommy brain block out things where you block out the hard times of having a baby. :) Aedan is not a bad baby by any means, but he sure makes me miss my sleep! I know that is how it is with most babies...but still...it seems like it will never end when you're going through it.
Anyway, things about Aedan...
1.) He holds his head up strong and has done so really from day one
2.) He is making more and more eye contact and focusing on objects (I can tell because he'll cross his eyes...I remember this used to freak David out when Preston first did it bc he thought he was gonna be a crossed eyed baby, permanently...obviously he grew out of it ;) )
3.) He has a louder cry than Preston did at this age!
4.) He still has his dark brown hair and dark blue eyes
5.) He let out a little laugh today--seriously! I know it wasn't a social laugh--probably gas--but I never heard him do that before
6.) He actually likes a pacifier...Preston didn't care for one until he was like 6 months +--and now Preston is still attached!
As you can tell, I can't help but compare our two boys. :) It is still surreal that we really do have 2 kiddos now! Here are some pictures taken over this last week...

I like that picture of you! And all the rest. I can't believe Aedan is one month old. Crazy, isn't it?
Very cute! It is hard to believe that a month has gone by already! Now you get to celebrate double the Mother's Day. Crazy how grown up we are now...Sometimes it seems overwhelming but somehow when your baby smiles at you it is all worth it. I am so glad you are so happy. *Big hugs*
Cute pictures! Your boys are beautiful!:) Newborn stage is a little hard, but it goes by quickly so I always tried to really enjoy the 'sweet' moments!
