We have moved Abby's kennel in the office for a while now and she seemed to be fine in there. She used to be in the main part of the house on the tile. Well, she had been working on chewing holes through the bottom of her kennel...I didn't even know it was possible to destroy things like that! I mean, it's a solid piece of plastic and metal. Anyway, she finally worked a big enough hole to where when we were both out of the house Abby also chewed right through the carpet all the way to the concrete! Ughh!! So now there is this lovely hole in the middle of the office floor. Here's a couple of pictures...not sure if you can tell...

Well, the important thing is we still have a dog. :) We moved her kennel back to the tile area, of course. And I guess this is a good enough excuse to finally get some estimates on new flooring! We would like to get some kind of wood or laminate floor anyway...so we have someone coming out tomorrow to give us some estimates. I guess we are pretty lucky to have had Abby for almost one year...and so far this is the only thing inside the house she has really destroyed. For a lab puppy, that's good! :)

Ahh, I remember those days with our twin dog, Ares! We had berber carpet (big mistake!) and he chewed one hold 2 ft x 2ft! Those little rascals! Don't worry though, she should grow out of it.
