This weekend David and I drove down to San Antonio for a little getaway and so we could go see Drum Core International (DCI). David and I were both in marching band in high school and we have always enjoyed DCI. Basically it's professional marching band...but only with percussion, horns, and color guard (Yes, I know we're nerds). We also got to stay in a hotel very close to the Riverwalk and enjoyed walking down there and eating at one of our favorite restaurants, Casa Rio. It was so nice to have a date weekend away from the boys! Of course we missed them, but it was just much needed time away. :) We had a lot of fun and will hopefully be back soon! I always love visiting San Antonio. I took a lot more pictures, but here are just a few random ones for fun.
