The 4th

This Independence Day David was on-call for work, so we just hung around nearby and enjoyed some time off together. We went to the parade (in Downtown Arlington) in the morning and the boys lasted a good hour or so before they got totally restless and we left. Preston really enjoyed the firetrucks and old timey cars and the marching bands. Every time a new float came around to our corner Aedan would point and say "oooh!" it was really cute. I got a couple of pictures of the boys with my phone...so the quality is poor. I snapped a couple more pictures at home, later. We were going to try and see some fireworks, but Preston totally went to bed around 7:30pm! I guess he was tired from the parade. David and I did step outside in the front of our house and we had a perfect view of some great fireworks over the lake, nearby. Of course David never ended up getting called in to work. So that was an added bonus! :)

I seriously can't get one "normal" picture of Preston. He's such a turkey!

Aedan's attitude lips! Do you see that?? And look at his outfit...

...it's the same one Preston wore in 2008 (he was 11 months old here) on July 4th with David's Mom. I love this picture. :) Also, that tells you how little Aedan is (at 15 months) in comparison, to be wearing the same outfit Preston could wear at 11 months!!
