Sicky Update

   So it turns out the boys caught Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease from a kid at daycare. :( It's apparently a pretty common childhood virus. It's pretty awful though! The symptoms are fever, malaise, and then they break out in sores/spots on usually the hands, feet, and mouth. Preston had very mild spots on his hands and maybe a spot or two around his mouth and that was it...along with fever and malaise. Aedan, on the other hand, got spots on his hands, feet, and sores inside and outside of his mouth. It was so sad! But after a day or two they both at least started acting better. Aedan just had a lack of appetite this week until the sores went away. Apparently it's very contagious...which is why they caught it...and why I had to keep them home from daycare all week. Luckily the worst part is over! And it's not usually something adults get (probably because we got it as kids at some point). I'm ready for everyone to be well! I took a couple of pictures of Aedan so I could verify what he had...

Sorry, these probably look gross! Just documenting, here. :) They kinda looked like a bad acne outbreak. :(
