Saturday evening David's mom came over to spend time with Preston so David and I could go out on a date. :) She was so great because it took us a while to get going and we didn't get home til after midnight! I'm so glad she came over and I know she enjoyed time with Preston as well.
So for our date night we went out to dinner and a movie. Something that we actually haven't done in a while. We hardly go out and see movies at the movie theater and hadn't been out to eat in a while. We ate at On the Border and went and saw The Dark Knight. All the hype over the movie really is true! The actors were amazing and it's a movie I will definitely see again! It surprised me that I actually missed Preston and worried over him even though we weren't gone *that* long. :) At the same time it was nice to have a break and just enjoy time with David.
I look forward to more date nights! David's mom took lots of pictures while she was with Preston. I will post those when I get them! Thanks again, Mom, for watching Preston!

Date nights are good. I am sure Preston and his grandma had a great time too. :)
I am so proud of you guys going on a date. We didn't leave Brooklyn with anyone until she was 6 months old. But then again, we didn't have any family around either.
