Since David has been away so much our New Years Eve and New Year was spent just hanging out and enjoying being at home together. We ate our favorite foods and had some sparkling cider to ring in the New Year. I can't even believe we stayed up past midnight, but we did. :) Of course Preston was fast asleep before 9 and woke up nice and early the next morning as usual. On New Years Day the weather was nice and we ventured out to a few stores. On Saturday we headed over to my parent's house where we had a 2nd Christmas with my parents, brother, and sister-in-law. Marc and David played some Wii and Mom made delicious food. We opened presents and enjoyed each others company. Unfortunately Preston was getting PINK EYE...so that was no good...but I'll save all that for the next post. It was so nice to have 2 long weekends with our families this year for the holidays! Happy New Year!!
