This week just flew by! Preston became 7 weeks old on Tuesday and he has been smiling and "talking" A LOT. He's so cute! :) He did have a couple of VERY fussy nights where he just wouldn't go to sleep like he had been (at least 4 hours in a row is what I can usually get) and it was pretty tiring for both of us! Luckily David's mom was very sweet and came over Thursday evening to give us a break! That was so great of her because I know she has so much going on for herself right now. She is working full time, busy doing all that she does to take care of the family, and also just started going back to school! It was very much appreciated and thoughtful of her to be here.
I officially went to employee health on Wednesday and got cleared to go back to work. I also had to get a TB skin test done...lots of fun. It was negative, of course! I've been "exposed" before, but it's always been negative. Yeah, it's always fun to get an e-mail at work telling you you've been exposed to TB (unknown to you) and you must get a mandatory TB skin test done or you cannot work. I know it's for everyone's safety and all...just not the type of e-mail you want to get and worry about. So I start my first shift back on Monday! Wish me luck with the transition!
Anyway, David and I have enjoyed time together this week with his days off. We won't have quite as much of that when I am working those 2 shifts a week. We even squeezed in a visit to my parents' house since my mom will be going out of town next week to visit family in Cali. She'll be gone for 2 weeks. It's amazing how much Preston will grow and change in those 2 weeks! Here are a few pictures of Preston this week. I tried my best to catch his smile!

Sweet smile! :)

A little blurry, but still cute

See his right hand? Yeah, he moves his arms around like crazy! Batting at everything. He's such a wiggle worm!

I am so surprised at how much he has grown. Preston looks so cute. I hope working is a smooth transition. I am sure you will do wonderfully.
