Blog Blank

Lately I've been getting way behind on blogging! I have things to blog about, but then a couple of days pass by and I just blank on writing about it. Anyway, last Saturday David and I were able to go out and see a movie together. We haven't been out just us two for a while. David's mom and grandma agreed to come watch Preston and they had lots of fun! I convinced David to go see Marley & Me. I read the book earlier in the year and really enjoyed it, and then learned about the movie coming out and wanted to see it. The movie was good, but of course some parts of the book I enjoyed didn't make the movie. I know that's just how it goes. I can relate a lot to John's story because we have a lab (although ours is nothing like Marley!!) and also how they went through a miscarriage and just having kids and the changes that go with that. Even David enjoyed it...although there are a lot of sad parts! Afterward we grabbed burgers and just had a casual dinner. It was nice going out on a date. :)

Preston is being just as cute as ever! Recently he likes to sleep with a blanket over his head. I know that sounds horrible and it worried me at first, but it's how he likes to sleep. I'll put him to bed all wrapped in his blanket and before long he'll grab the blanket and put it in his mouth, chew on it for a bit, and then pull it over his head. This is how he falls asleep most of the time. Once he's asleep, I go in and fold back the blanket just to be safe. He's such a funny baby! I need to get some pictures of this. I'll post again soon and put up some pictures!

Kelly sleeps with a blanket over his head too! Finally, we got him his own little blanket especially for that and to cuddle. It is so great, it is a Little Giraffe and it is like 1' squared and really soft. So we cover him, and hand him his little blankie and he uses it to cover his face. I definitely suggest it! I heard Marley and Me was sad. I still want to see it!

I went with Jared to see Marly & Me and we both (although Jared probably wouldn't like me admitting it) cried like babies for like, the last 10 min. of the movie. So good, but so sad!
