Poor Puppy

The past couple of days Abby has been having some GI problems and has been doing her business in her crate...which is very unlike her. Last night I made sure she went out plenty of times before I went to bed and I even got up in the middle of the night to let her out...but it was too late. David took her to the vet this morning and turns out the new food we bought to feed her caused all the problems. I didn't know that Purina Beneful Playful Life dog food is apparently a terrible choice of dog food and I didn't know it could make a dog so sick. David called Purina and they are sending us a refund check for the food. They said they take these reports seriously and if they get 3 or more of these reports in a year then they further review the food. Whatever that means. Maybe it's just Abby, but if you've had problems with the food...be sure to report it! Dr. Latimer put Abby on an antibiotic and gave us some special food to feed her over the next few days. Since it became nice and sunny outside today I've kept Abby out.
