Preston's first tooth appeared today! This morning the tooth wasn't really visible--his gum was brighter pink and I could only really feel a tooth there. But as the day has gone on I can see the top of his pearly white poking through! It's his bottom front tooth more to the left. We tried to get a picture of it, but that was pretty much impossible. He kept sticking out his tongue and trying to grab the camera. Here are the pictures anyway...

The past 3 days I have tried to feed Preston sweet potatoes...giving him time to warm up to them...but he did not want anything to do with them! He likes his rice cereal and oatmeal though. Tomorrow I will try out a new veggie and see if he likes it any better. I know he'll like fruit!
